Huawei Pocket S releasing on November 2

On November 2, Huawei will release its second folding clamshell phone. We have a short teaser video that doesn’t offer us much to go on, and the company has announced the Huawei Pocket S launch event will begin at 7PM Beijing time (11AM UTC).

In August, the P50 Pocket’s replacement was certified on TENAA, giving us our first look at the device’s aesthetics. Huawei CEO Richard Yu has confirmed in a blog post that the Pocket S will be available in a variety of bright colors, including blue, pink, green, and yellow. This information corroborates a new teaser video. The Snapdragon 888 4G chipset is rumored to be included in the smartphone, while a Snapdragon 778G variant may be available at a lesser cost.
