New benchmarks for the Exynos 2200

First benchmark results from Samsung’s Exynos 2200 flagship SoC for 2022 have been released by MySmartPrice. There’s no way to verify that these results are from the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

There were 1108 single-core and 3516 multi-core Geekbench 5 results, almost identical to the Exynos 2100.

Samsung’s Exynos 2100 achieved 965,874 points in AnTuTu 9.0, which is a massive 46% increase over last year’s model.

The Exynos 2200 SoC scored 109fps on the GFXBench Aztec Ruins (Normal) test. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 benchmark results from Xiaomi 12 don’t sound all that remarkable. This year’s Snapdragon 888 had a GFXBench GPU score that was lower than the current generation of Snapdragons.

However, there are a few important caveats to be aware of. In the first place, it is important to note that these are preliminary results, and the real performance of the final chipset is likely to differ. To add insult to injury, there are no screenshots to back up the findings. Given the brand-new CPU design, the absence of CPU growth is particularly puzzling.
