Samsung reveals the list of Galaxy devices that will get Android 14 with One UI 6.0
Samsung has been one of the fastest and most consistent manufacturers when it comes to delivering Android updates to its devices. The company rolled out Android 13 with One UI 5.0 to tens of millions of Galaxy smartphones and tablets last year, and it is now preparing for the next major update: Android 14 with One UI 6.0.
Android 14 is the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system, which was announced in February 2023 and is expected to be released in August 2023. The new OS brings a number of features and improvements, such as non-linear font scaling, camera flash notifications, grammatical inflection API, OpenJDK 17 updates, and more¹².
Samsung’s custom skin, One UI, will also get a refresh with version 6.0, which will likely include some design changes, new features, and optimizations. Samsung has not officially revealed the details of One UI 6.0 yet, but we can expect to hear more about it in the coming months.
As for the list of Galaxy devices that will receive Android 14 with One UI 6.0, Samsung has published it on its website³. The list includes most of the recent flagship, mid-range, and budget models from the Galaxy S, Z, A, M, F, Xcover, and Tab series. However, some older or lower-end devices may not make the cut, such as the Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy A51, Galaxy M31s, and Galaxy Tab S7.
