The Redmi K50i, according to Xiaomi, uses the Dimensity 8100 chipset
The Redmi K50i will be released on July 20 (Wednesday of next week) in India, and the firm has been publishing teasers about the device on its social media channels. According to the most recent reports, it will use the Dimensity 8100 chipset.
Redmi India’s Twitter is going all out to promote the K50i, and even MediaTek India’s account has joined in. The phone’s AnTuTu score of 822,274 was published by Xiaomi a few days ago. Keep in mind that these are skewed results; the iPhone 13 series with the A15 chipset and some 888 other devices all get better averages. Check the current AnTuTu rankings here.
Speculation has it that the Redmi K50i is just a repackaged Redmi Note 11T Pro+. Yes, the Dimensity 8100 chip is used in this phone. In addition, it contains a 3.5mm headphone port, a 4,400mAh battery with 120W fast charging, a 6.6-inch 144Hz IPS LCD (FHD+, 20.5:9), 64+8+2MP rear and 16MP front cameras, and a 4,400mAh battery with fast charging (0-50 percent in 10 minutes, 0-100 percent in 19 minutes).
Sure, there could be some minor tweaks to the K50i’s specs depending on your region. The Poco X4 GT, for instance, is quite similar to the Poco X4, save for the battery, which is 5,080mAh and supports 67W charging (0-100 percent in 46 minutes).
According to previous speculations, the Redmi K50i would supposedly go on sale on July 22 with a starting price of 27,000 for the 6/128GB model and 32,000 for the 8/256GB model.
