Xiaomi Redmi A2, A2+ was launched in India
The Redmi A2 as well as the Redmi A2+ announced in March were launched today in India. The phones are available with Aqua blue, Classic Black, and Sea Green colors in 4GB/64GB model, but it’s the Redmi A2 has one more alternative 2GB/32GB. The price is INR 6,299 ($75/EUR70) and the 4GB/64GB variant costs INR7.999 ($95/EUR90). The 4GB/64GB Redmi A2+ version costs INR 8,499 ($100/EUR95).
The Redmi A2 and A2+ will be available for purchase in India from May 23 to the Official Indian web site Amazon.in, Mi Home and its Retail partners. Xiaomi will also offer a 2-year guarantee on both smartphones in order to make sure that “users don’t have to change their smartphone every year.”
The Redmi A2 and A2+ are similar smartphones featuring an integrated rear-mounted fingerprint reader. The phones come with an Helio G36 SoC, run Android 13 (Go Edition) from the factory, and come with 6.52″ HDand LCDs.
Both phones come with 5,000mAh batteries, which draw power via microUSB as much as 10W. A2 and the A2 or A2+ are equipped with 8MP cameras in the primary camera on the rear. These are with depth cameras as well as five-megapixel selfie cameras in the front.
